About Us

In May 2006, a group of diocesan leaders launched the new Department of Justice and Jubilee to coordinate the activities of four divisions of church outreach (Jubilee Ministry, Peace and Justice, United Thank Offering and Episcopal Relief and Development). These divisions link our diocesan activities with the national church while also making clear the connection between theology and everyday life.

Department Chair: Suzanne Warner - St. Andrew’s, Louisville

Jubilee Ministry Division: Jack Hanstein - St. John's, Murray

Peace and Justice Division: Dr. Mary Abrams, St James’ - Pee Wee Valley

UTO Division: Lana Goodwin Black - Holy Trinity, Brandenburg

The Rev. Jim Trimble - Assistant Rector. St. Matthew’s, Louisville

Updates about the various divisions and their programs will be posted on this Web page and will also appear in Episcopal News. All four divisions need information and help from the people of the diocese. Meetings dates and times will be posted so that interested people can meet with the divisions to add ideas and energy for carrying out programs. Let them know what you are doing in your parish and how you'd like to help spread the ideas about peace, justice, and caring for God's people.

To learn more about the group you would most like to work with, please see our contact page.
